How to Extract Selected Pages From a PDF

Sometimes a 40-page PDF contains only three pages you need to send. Extracting them into a new file is safer than sharing the whole document and hoping the recipient ignores the rest.

Open Split and Organize PDF, choose your PDF, and enter page numbers in Pages to keep, in order. For example, 3, 1-2 produces a three-page file in the order page 3, page 1, page 2. You can repeat a number if a page needs to appear twice. Leaving the field blank keeps every page.

Select Create PDF and download the result. Open it before sharing: check the page count, the order, and whether the pages still contain what you intended. Pages omitted from the selection are not in the new file, but they remain in the original on your device.

The tool processes the PDF in your browser. It accepts one source PDF in this mode, with a 50 MB input limit. Large or malformed files can still strain a phone’s memory. If you need pages from two different PDFs, extract them separately and then use Merge PDF. If every selected page is sideways, Rotate PDF can make a separate corrected copy.

This tool extracts PDF pages; it does not compress the document or remove sensitive text embedded inside a selected page. Review the finished file as carefully as you would review the source.
